Surrounded by a park of over 30,000 square meters, Villa Ghislanzoni is a venetian villa dating from the eighteenth century, in a complex architectural extensive and detailed, which is also Villa Gazzotti Marcello, designed and built by the famous architect Andrea Palladio, Unesco world heritage since 1994, visited by guests of simple request.
Precious eighteenth-century statues enrich the front of the villa and the impressive wrought iron gate, that separates the ancient parkland in two orders level. History lovers will be able to discover interesting characters and events from the past.
Villa Ghislanzoni del Barco, now Curti, belongs to the Curti family since 1864. We still have the documents relative to the sale. The Villa has witnessed numerous historical events.The gate's stone tablet tells of the visit of King Vittorio Emanuele and the Brigata Piemonte who passed by on May 5 th May 1918.
After a long period of restoration, Villa Ghislanzoni, private residence of the Curti family since about two centuries, has been restored to its former glory and today, thanks to the passion and enthusiasm of the owners, it is destined to the hospitality farm, in addition to being a venue for concerts, theater events and important cultural events.
